What are the electrodes of graphite?
Graphite electrode:
1 normal power graphite electrode. To use the current density less than 17A cm 2 graphite electrode is mainly used for common power electric furnace steelmaking, refining and smelting yellow phosphorus and silicon.
2 oxidation resistant coated graphite electrode. Surface coated with a layer of anti-oxidation protective layer (graphite electrode antioxidant) graphite electrode. The utility model can be used as a protective layer which can conduct electric conduction and high temperature oxidation, and the electrode consumption of the steel is decreased (the service life of the 19%~50% extension electrode (22%~60%) decreases the electric energy consumption of the electrode.
